TEAM MEMBERS DANCE CONVENTION INFO
We cannot stress enough the value and importance of attending Dance Conventions and Workshops. There is no better learning opportunity than taking class with top professionals from around the country at the various conventions offered annually.
Once again this year we are requesting all team students to attend a minimum of 1 day of convention classes. The Diamond and Ruby teams MUST attend a minimum of 2 days of convention classes, and those students who compete as soloists, you MUST attend a minimum of 4 days total of convention classes.
There are several 1 day workshops such as DMA CT, DMA N.E., and SHOCK, with many 2 day weekend conventions to choose from such as NYCDA, West Cost Dance Explosion, Jump, MDX, Shake/Break the Floor, The Pulse, etc. Dates and Info will be posted ASAP.
Your money will be better spent learning and training rather than just doing your solo at another competition. Keep in mind we will be checking up on those individuals who spend too much time focusing on competition chasing down the "Title/Jacket" and not enough time on conventions.
Those of our students who have dedicated themselvs over the years to working hard and attending many conventions throughout the season have proven that not only do they end up at a more advanced level but usually tend to win over the other students at competition anyway.
We currently have only a small handful of students who attend these regularly and it just so happens that these particular students just won the national titles or the highest scoring solos this past summer!!! You can't get better proof that than. Believe us when we say what a difference it can make.
For Question and Info regarding conventions please see us and watch for the posted bulletins.
