Videotaping of the recital is done by a professional company and the tapes are available to be ordered. Personal videotaping and photography are NOT allowed at the recital but can be done on dress rehearsal evening only. All students are required to purchase a ticket if planning to view the show Friday or Saturday. Thursday is the free night for all students.
Student Achievement Awards:
After many years of trying different ways of rewarding our students we have now come up with a new system that acknowledges every student each year . Rather than the usual medals and trophies collecting dust we now have our very own unique collector pins which will be presented to the students. These yearly pins can be collected and put on their dance bags, dance jacket, etc.
Gymnastics Show Information:
We hold an annual gymnastics show in early June. This is held on a weeknight and showcases each gymnastics class and the skills they have worked on this past year. Several dance/ acro presentations are performed for the audience during the show. In order to purchase tickets we once again ask that all of your tuition fees, costume payments, etc.. be up to date. This is an informal setting so photography and videotaping are allowed. This is typically held at Hampshire Regional High School in Westhampton.
Picture Day:
Our annual studio picture day is scheduled on a Sunday here at the studio prior to the Recital. All students are asked to participate with their group whether or not they plan to purchase group or individual photos. Exact times are posted several weeks before picture day with information envelopes available. Please note that we always run on schedule. Anyone arriving late may possibly miss their class photo.
Choreography Fees:
If your child does a solo, duet, or trio number for competitions there is a one-time choreography fee charged for the instructor to choreograph the dance as well as the private lesson fee; the prices are posted on the informational bulletin board in the Lobby.
