attend your scheduled company class during a sport season you must attend another company class in order to hold your position. No exceptions. Competitions and important rehearsals must always come before an athletic practice. During February, March and April we expect Dance to come 1st and foremost.
We hope you understand the above requirements; if you have any questions please feel free to see either Alison, Lisa A. or Lisa H.
Please keep in mind that in choosing not to comply with our requirements, you are greatly jeopardizing your chances of being considered for advancement to the next level of Company. Why? Because your lack of commitment and dedication will almost certainly affect your technical and artistic progression.
What level do you want to reach? That is your choice. It’s up to you!! Many students attend only their 1.5-2 hour company class each week. Many others are spending 4-6 hours or more each week working towards a higher level. Students who commit more time to perfecting their skills will obviously be considered first and foremost when adjusting the company classes.
Waiting Rooms:
There are several waiting rooms located throughout the dance studio that are for the use of parents/family and dancers. We ask that you respect each others space and do not leave food wrappers, soda cans, etc.. behind when you leave the area.
Many of our students come to the studio directly after school so they bring
backpacks, coats, boots, etc. with them. We ask that they keep their belongings
together in one space and try not to litter the floor as it makes it very
difficult to walk through the waiting room area.
A microwave, toaster and refrigerator will be available at the Snack Bar for
those students who spend a full evening at the Studio. Food is allowed only in
the waiting room areas and it is our expectation that each student will be
responsible for cleaning up after themselves!
We also ask that you follow several etiquette rules while in the waiting room areas:
1. Carry on conversations in quiet voices
