3. Interrupt lessons only when absolutely necessary. And then please be polite about it!

4. The dance studios and gymnastics equipment are for the use of the students not younger siblings. Please watch them as we are not responsible for their safety.

5. Please make every effort to pick your children up on time after their class ends. They become very anxious waiting for you so if you are delayed please call so we can be aware of the situation. We do not provide babysitting services.

We expect that each student will behave in a manner that is respectful and courteous. Whether at the dance studio or at a convention, competition, class etc. we expect each student to proudly display the Hackworth spirit. You represent us while you are performing and even when you’re not so keep this in mind as you head to any of these events.

Please try to be on time for class- especially for Tiny Tots/Kinder classes. The ability of the student to focus on their class provides enough of a challenge without the added distraction of being interrupted repeatedly by latecomers. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

There are times when the weather becomes too inclement and may affect the safety of our students or teaching staff. We post the cancellations on our website as well as on our answering machine. We post all competition information in the front lobby. This includes prices and deadlines. If you are the parent of a student participating in a solo, duo or trio please take the time and responsibility to follow all the necessary guidelines for participating in competitions.
