News Flash

Due to the overwhelming demands of solos/duos & Trios we are having to make some new rules. Somehow we’ve allowed it to get out of control with the number of routines being demanded, everyone wants a routine with this friend and that. Keep in mind that no other schools allow just anyone to have solos/duos/ & trios. You have to be asked. It is considered a priviledge. We at HSPA believe that all students should have the same priviledges regardless of age and level. We feel it is important that each student has the same equal opportunity to benefit from these learning experiences. But unfortunately these priviledges are being taken advantage of. Students are now pairing up expecting to have not just 1 routine but several!!!! We are already spreading ourselves too thin with all the routines we have to do, we can only do so much. As it is we will be alternating students weekly with staff assistants just to keep up.

"NEW RULES"

DUO/TRIO-No student can be in more than 1 duo/trio unless they are on the diamond, gold or ruby team. The maximum for all teams is 2 unless "we" specifically place you in a 3rd.

SOLOS-All junior age (9 & under) can only do 1. All pre-teen and over can do 2 if approved, with only a few individuals allowed to do 3.
