Private Lesson Payment Schedule 2006/2007

     If you have to cancel your private please contact us at least 2 hours in advance or you will be charged for the lesson. If we have to cancel we will call you ASAP or have another instructor available to sub. When signing up for competitions, please check the payment deadline. If we do not receive your entry fees by the posted date, your entry will be omitted. If your monthly tuition has not been paid, your entry will be omitted. If you have any outstanding costume bill, your entry will be omitted. We don't like having to be strict about it but we can no longer afford to financially carry people throughout the season. We too have deadlines to adhere to.

     Parents are only allowed to observe the last portion of the lesson. No parent will be allowed to sit in the entire time. This is too distracting for both the student and teacher alike. Not to mention that other students who may be sharing the time as well. This rule applies to everyone, there are no exceptions.      You may also notice a slight increase in prices this year. This of course is due to the rise in our overhead costs. Unfortunately these increases are unavoidable and necessary in order for us to leave open studio space for private lessons. Please know that for every hour the studio is being used for a private, it loses money. That is an hour that could have been used for a class which of course brings in a higher profit. Your payment goes not only to the teacher but a small% goes towards rental fee for the space and "wear & tear" on the equipment. Each private student will receive a pay chart to help in knowing what the fee is per lesson when sharing with other students. We know it can be confusing so we hope this will alleviate any questions.
