Recital Participation Bracelets

As of this years Recital and many attempts with various suggestions, we have finally come up with a solution in regards to the student's tickets. The question we get every year is "why does my child who is performing in the show need a ticket?" That of course is a legitamate question for all our first year students having never been to our show. Like every other dance studio, any dance student taking up a seat in the the theater needs to have a purchased ticket/(participation bracelet). If we allowed each student to take a seat, there would be no room left for family and friends. Keep in mind that all students are encouraged to view the show also on Thursday dress rehearsal giving them up to 3 shows to catch all the great numbers. Please note that each student is only allowed one parent/guardian on Thursdsy. Any other visitors arriving will be required to purchase a discount ticket. No exceptions!! This night is for the kids!!

We are so confident you'll be satisfied with not only the talent you see on stage but the professionalism of the show, that we offer a money back guarantee for anyone questioning the worth of the tickets. Keep in mind our prices are the same as every other studio if not cheaper, seeing as we offer a child and senior discount, while most others do not. We actually urge our students to go to other area recitals to compare for yourselves. We go to great lengths, sparing no expense in putting on a sepctacular show with special lighting, effects and staging.

The price for the bracelets is $5.00 per show; a big savings for the majority of our families. Normally the ticket price is $9.00 per child and $15.00 for children over 13. Most recreational students are scheduled for 1 show saving $4.00 for the child ticket and $10.00 for the Adult ticket. All company students are scheduled for both shows and will need to pay a total of $10.00 which gets them into both shows. A savings of $8.00 for the child and $20.00 for adult if viewing both shows. Wow!! Graduating Seniors are FREE!!

This will now make it not only more affortable for all families but easier for all our staff working the recital doors. Please keep in mind that every student will be required to wear their bracelet to go on stage. No bracelet, no going out on stage! We will keep a running alphabetized list of all students in order to monitor who has purchased their ticket and who has not. All bracelets mult be purchased by June 12th.

For most people this is certainly a positve change and a money saver with the exception of those students who continue to sneak in year after year without ever purchasing a ticket. Yes, we do keep track and kow who you are.

Please know that with each new year it has become more and more difficult to put on the show when only 1/3 of our audience actually purchase tickets. You cannot even imagine our expenses!! This is certainly a great compromise and solution!
