The ultimate experience for young boys who thrive on physical activities! If your son is between the ages of 5 and 9 and can’t get seem to run off their abundance of energy, why not have them use that energy to learn hip-hop, breakdancing, parkour skills, tumbling, tap/stomping, and challenging Ninja Warrior type obstacle courses. This class also aids in the development of musicality, strength, conditioning, coordination, and flexibility - all acquired skills that can be applied to just about every sporting activity they may also choose to participate in! They will have the opportunity to refine these skills in a supportive and dynamic environment catering to their unique interests and energy levels, all specifically designed to engage and excite them through a blending of activities.​
Cheer Dance
TEMPORARILY ON HOLD
Welcome to our Introduction to Cheer Dance class, designed for beginners eager to explore cheerleading fundamentals. This six-week course is suitable for students ages 6-10 with no prior experience needed! Content will cover cheerleading history, basic techniques, jumps, stunts, tumbling, and dance. Each class includes a dynamic warm-up, technique training, tumbling basics, choreography practice, and a cool-down. Our experienced instructor will ensure a supportive environment, offering personalized feedback to help students develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while having fun and building friendships.
This class runs in six-week sessions throughout the season.
JAZZ IT UP
Wed 4:15-5:00
This class covers various Jazz styles including Funk Fusion, Broadway, and Stylized along with foundational Jazz technique, and more! Great for students to get movin’ and groovin', building their knowledge of everything JAZZ. This class serves as a recommended stepping stone for those considering joining one of our performance/competition teams in the future.

Junior/Pre-Teen Acro
Tue 5:00-6:00
This class focuses on enhancing essential acro and tumbling skills by increasing difficulty based on each student's abilities. Emphasis is placed on learning basic technique and developing the strength required to progress with different apparatuses, doing so with safety as a priority. From cartwheels, to limbers, and handsprings, students will focus on drills and skills to reach their goals.

NOTE: All acro/tumble classes, participate in our end of the season Gym Show at the studio which is held separately from the annual Recital. ​​
Junior Ballet (2)
Tue 6:00-7:00
One of two ballet options for our Junior dancers, this class is the perfect option for dancers who are transitioning out of our Petite Ballet class, are newer to Ballet, or are at the more beginner/intermediate level. In this class, dancers will continue to refine their ballet skills and get introduced to more challenging techniques and steps. Focuses of this class shift to technical placement, movement quality, and proper completion of steps, while still developing skills of our other ballet classes - posture, grace, strength, control, musicality, and, of course, fun!​

Junior/Pre-Teen Technique

Our Technique/Progression/Skills class is designed to enhance every dancer's technical ability through a comprehensive approach. Each week, students engage in targeted stretching and flexibility exercises, strength training, and the fundamental techniques in jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance. This class emphasizes the development of progressions with leaps, turns, and other essential skills to advance dancers' technical proficiency. By focusing on these core elements, we ensure continuous improvement and a solid foundation for all levels of advancement.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Do you have a budding young actor waiting to emerge? Then we have the perfect class to ignite their flame of curiosity and imagination with the freedom to dream and explore. Drama empowers children to communicate confidently, offering an engaging platform for promoting social and emotional learning. This helps to develop essential life skills, such as empathy, communication, resilience, problem-solving, and teamwork - all the while improving cognitive, physical, and over all well-being. Seeing the world through a theatrical perspective helps young minds imagine new worlds, new possibilities, and new ideas. An opportunity to develop their ability to think logically and creatively using their imagination to see beyond what already exists, and gain the courage to take their adventures into the unknown.

Rhythm Rookies
Wed 5:00-5:45
This is the next Recreational step after Kinder Tap classes, where students will continue to improve their skills in learning about tempo, syncopation, the ability to count music, and the appreciation for rhythmic sounds created by the feet. As like previous tap classes - this class will help develop coordination, balance, and overall musicality awareness - all of which are an integral part of learning all styles of dance.

Street Beat

Dive into the rhythm and energy of Hip-Hop with our secondary/intermediate-level class designed for dancers ready to elevate their skills. Building on foundational techniques, this class delves deeper into dynamic footwork, advanced body isolations, and creative street-style grooves. Students will explore contemporary Hip-Hop choreography and develop a strong sense of musicality and personal expression. Expect to engage with age-appropriate music and movements that challenge and inspire, fostering both physical agility and artistic growth.
