If you have any questions regarding any of this information please reach out to the Office or email us at Thank you, Alison, Lisa A., Lisa H., and the HSPA Staff Acro/Gymnastics Update We are so excited to welcome back to our Acro/gymnastics program, a former outstanding HSPA alumni ~ Maureen Cavanaugh. Moe brings with her a great deal of wisdom, experience and abundance of positive energy in coaching gymnastics. Not only did she compete as an elite USGF gymnast throughout her career, she also taught for us here at HSPA for many years as well as serving as a head coach at Thompson’s gymnastics center for over a decade. We are thrilled to have her back and looking forward to seeing our students gain from her expertise. We are also excited for the new tumble track we have added to the program, with other additional equipment to arrive soon. A kip swing and octagon are on order, with both apparatus helping to increase skills on floor and bars. A lot to look forward to! Studio Renovations Thank you for your patience as we continue to do renovations throughout these next months. As you can see, our new outdoor entryway is complete and looking good. Our locker room facilities upstairs have been updated, and new windows and doors are being installed weekly, along with lots of painting to every room. Now that our new heating/air conditioning units have all been installed, we can move on to various other projects with will include redoing all the public area floors, and the overhaul to the lobby entrance making it handicap accessible. Your cooperation during this time is greatly appreciated. Class Sign-In and Tuition Please remember to sign-in for your classes each week, so that we can keep track of attendance. If any student switches classes from the ones that they originally signed up for at registration please notify the office directly ASAP. At that time, the office will also advise you of your correct monthly tuition amount, as this may have changed with the switching of classes and/or adding/dropping of any classes. Dance Shoes Parents just a reminder to please put your dancers’ names inside their shoes. It appears we already have some shoes left behind after the first month of classes with no names in them. If you are missing any dance shoes please check the lost and found box. Costume Deposit Money Everyone should have paid a costume deposit upon registering this fall. The 2nd costume deposit is due November 10, 2017. Final costume installment is due by December 15, 2017. We need money in hand before we can begin ordering costumes. Please help us out by staying on top of your costume payments. Thank you so much for your cooperation. Important Dates & Studio Closed Dates

CLI Update Any new students that signed up as CLI members should have received an email as of September 13th with the link to create your personal online account. Those students that were members last year will continue to use their same account. The only difference is that your payment is now included in your monthly tuition through HSPA and not deducted from your personal CLI accounts. If any NEW members have not received the email with the link, please contact Alison ASAP. Some students did not include their email address, so parent email addresses were used to send out the new account information. ADDITIONAL TEAM NEWS Optional Team Group and Production Numbers There is a sign-up posted on the bulletin board if you are interested in possibly being in any small group numbers and/or production numbers. We will not know what the styles of the numbers will be until people sign up and we can see where there is the most interest. Any team students that are actively taking a weekly hip hop class and would like to participate in the Junior/preteen Hip Hop number should also sign-up on the extra groups list. There will also be an advanced Hip Hop number that will be by invite/audition only. We will keep you posted! If you know your dancer would like to be in a small group or a production number, it is not too early to pay the choreography fees. Fees for small groups are $125- for HSPA staff ~ $175.00 for Guest Choreographers from LA & NYC (with additional discounts per guest choreographer number) and fees for the production numbers are $75 each, with discounts for those in three or more extra group numbers. These fees cover the 8-10 hours learning the numbers and ALL continued rehearsals for the entire season. Private Choreography fees These are also due now.
